I asked around, only one person knew she had travelled back to Nigeria on completion of her studies & was not aware of any means to reach her. I grieved like one who had lost a gem. I was just getting over my “losss” when few months later on this beautiful Sunday, as I stepped into the church, behold this damsel with her newly and well made African braid. I am not sure what the priest talked about that day but I reassured myself that if I should gbajoo this baby, na me do myself oooo. Anyway, that meeting is now history and behold the bone of my bones!

There was this girl I was always admiring in Church, her charming smile & her dedication to Church but in my usual skepticism, I maintained a close observation without her knowledge and after every Sunday, I was gladdened at her sight. So after about a year of this routine, I no longer saw her in church and since I never got to meet her , there was no way I could reach her.

You have made me a better person I believe in you, the person you will grow to be and the couple we will be together. With my whole heart, I take you as my husband, acknowledging and accepting your faults and strengths, as you do mine. I promise to be faithful and supportive and to always make our family's love and happiness my priority. I will be yours in plenty and in want, in sickness and in health, in failure and in triumph. I will dream with you, celebrate with you and walk beside you through whatever our lives may bring. You are my person—my love and my life, today and always.
